Interesting long weekend...
- got to work from home on Friday because of a floater day at work...so essentially made it a four day long weekend for me :)
- I joined facebook and LinkedIn in the span of 3 days.
- We installed a projector screen at home :)
- hit STC twice
- aaaaand, albeit a lot sooner than I thought I would, I started dating again...a lovely girl by the name of Anna =))
that's my update for now. it's much too late for me to be writing anyway...lol.

finally created my 2004 LJ-Book from http://www.ljbook.com/
been reading it, reading about the rollercoaster ride that was 2004 for me. haha. december really amused me with all the Disney store antics/photo series haha.
many other things made me think back too, but eh, it's all good :) always need to know where we come from to know where we're going, right?
i wonder how my lj-book 2005'll read in 7 months?

saturday showcased some pretty good music at the kiwanis music festival at mac =)
in the morning, mac's wind ensemble took 1st in their group and best in class for march class =D woo! great job!
later on that night, even though w.e. didn't get a placement in challenge class, october still sounded amazing! the other bands were so good too! huron heights woaaahhh...variations of a korean folksong =OO very very well done (after all they placed first ahah).
listening to october though, goosebumps...wah...makes me miss playing in band just that much more =(

almost thursday. hard to believe it's only been a week since my bday. it's felt so so long. 2 messed up midterms -__- one a guaranteed fail aleady, the other, i'll see what i can squeak out of it. a couple other problems, but they've been worked out.
on a bright side, the palm's great. thanks guys =) got it all set up. getting used to it. moved in already haha. contacts, schedule, outlook sync =D and the wireless keyboard is really really cool =D i'll post pics later =)
next step: get myself a 1GB SD-card =D

edit, 20 minutes later: in the cafe right now, and it's great to see all the couples walk by with their respective valentine's gifts, or seeing the guys on their way to make their significant other's day, or the girl that walks by bouncy and happy cause she's holding the rose her partner gave her. makes the rest of the day just that much more bearable.

Happy happy Valentine's day to all those couples out there =) and good luck to all those singles looking to get lucky today lol. and to everyone: enjoy the chocolates & candies =D
last year, one of the toronto star's reporters/columnists (don't remember which one...the black dude...last name james or something?) did a little valentine's day thing that i thought was pretty cool and sweet of him. he had 10 or 12 roses and he basically gave one to the 10 or 12 females that've been really special to him. soooo...this year i'll make my own list here =)
so in no particular order...well, ok, except the first 2 haha.

tried to help my neighbour fix his comps tonight. interesting problems. haven't seen either one before lol.
i smell like smoke now though. they're all smokers in that household. meh.
does anyone know how to solve this problem?
laptop: hit power button. powers on...3 seconds later, powers off. then powers on again...then powers off. then powers on...then...you get the idea. need some ideas. it's out of warranty. meh. we'd like to save this one if we could.
